Bugatti Veyron
You may well wonder why my post is called Bugatti Veyron Well I'll tell you...the Veyron is a car...well they call it a car its more like a monster...anyway its a monster with 1001 BHP (Brake Horsepower - the number of horses you have trapped under your bonnet...or the rear of your car is you have a porsche) anyway The Veyron has 1001 BHP and the Speedo on Ermintrude has 1001 miles on the total distance travelled, so yes, that is the tedious link between the title and text!
Anyway The last couple of days I have been ill so I stay in bed on wednesday, watched band of brothers on Thursday and on Friday as I was feeling slightly better I went to college...Boo Hiss! Burn it down to the ground...But you'll be glad to know I am better now well mostly...
Life has been pretty mad recently but it is calming down again for bit so hopefully I might be able to write a few more of these absolutley fabulous blog post which I know you all love to read...as for now though I cant think of anything to write so Im going now!
Bye!

I haven't really been upto much and hence I haven'tgot much to say...so yeah...Harman is coming this weekend and I will prove to him again that not only am I the better cyclist but also Ermintrude is much the better bike! I mean look at his...thing...Izie he calls her...ha! And you know what else...after years of blasting mountain bike and calling them rubbish...he rode one this morning...and guess what...he loves it...espcially going downhill...now harman Iv been telling you that for years but have u listened? No. However I think we'll still agree that a road bike is deffinately the thing to ride on a road not a mtb! Oh and Harman are you aware of what happen to the Jezebel in the Bible? you see he's named his mtb Jezebel...

Pictures of my bike...with its new brooks saddle! Yes harman I have splashd out and bought for ermintrude the best type of saddle one can get.
Stories of my life...I have decided to tell stories of what I did when I was young...should be amusing (I will not repeat the story of me falling down the stairs)
A laugh at Mr Harman depending on todays rugby match scores...
Present happenings in my life...
Slinks' words of wisdom...
And future happenings of me.

Comfortably numb...
Its it possible for one to get to that state? I believe it is...oh dear I have a feeling this could be a deep, reflective, negative, late night post...not a good combination for what Im about to say...but hey it makes interesting reading...
So yeah comfortably numb...not only is it the title to a great Pink floyd song, I believe it is also a state one can get into, espcially as a christian. Its that state where you think everything is ok in your life and hence you dont really need to do much...When actually you're in danger of going nowhere...even possibly slipping backwards...
You're at that stage where you've got your life "sorted" you read you bible everyday, pray a bit, go to the college CU everyweek, go to church on a sunday, hang out with your christian mates...everything seems fine on the outside...yet on the inside you know its not really there...your quiet times dont give you what you know you can get out of them, you only read your bible for five minutes each day instead of the former 15. You only pray for a few minutes after reading your bible....you forget to pray for your friends...your mind wanders as you pray...you end up not praying...it all seems futile...your mind starts to dwell on things it really shouldn't...you begin to doubt the very existance of God...and yet you still think everything is ok. You continue walking in the same rut...the same routines...getting blinder and blinder and yet still thinking you know where you're going...Its a poor state to be in...I know...Im there...but hallelujah there's! a way out!
The Bible tells us that life aint going to be easy and that troubles and testing times are going to come upon us... infact Jesus himself tell us it wont be easy...he himself went through the most testing of times and yet managed to say "Not my will, but your's" Jesus persisted on God path first when the devil tempted him in the wilderness, then through the terible time of the crucifixition...and yet cos he persisted and kept his eyes on the Father in heaven he got through and now sits in glory at the side of the Father! Hallelujah!
The writer of Hebrews tells us "...since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run iwth endurance the race which is set before us, looking unto Yeshua, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God" (Heb 12:1-2)
Let me encourage you that there is a way out of being comfortably numb...to do exactly as Heb 12:1-2 tells us...to keep our eyes on Jesus and run the good race...for he has ran the race and won! and hallelujah for that!
Wow I feel better already!

Ken Livingstone says summat worthwhile for a change....
That being that the Tour de France will start in London in 2007...so Timothy...what do you think? Do u want to go and watch some of the best riders in the world in a year and a half's time?
In other news:
A typical Manchester Chav (only he's got a bit more money) get charged with improper conduct after celebrating a goal...better luck next time Gary!
A woman in Linconshire builds a Supermarine Spitfire in her garage for charity...apprently she got off on a flyer but then her project slowed down a bit when she discovered that her garage wasn't big enough...
Residents complain as a small rural town in Hampshire is besieged by Ddunk chavs who graffiti, turn over plant pots, smash wing mirrors and snap windscreen wipers...Blimey someone could have told me that Liverpool had moved!
A woman from bounemouth is to sue the Greek authorities after she hit a pot hole and crashed on a quad bike while not wearing a helmet...the woman was quoted as saying "We have it in writing that the hole caused the crash" she forgot to mention the fact that she didn't know how to properly drive the machine...next time tell the whole story love!
And finally a whale which swam up the Thames as far as Chelsea died while being taken on a barge to deeper water where it could safely be released...well I think we'd all die if we went for a swim in the Thames...look at the colour of it!

The list goes ever on
One of the funniest things one can do (it can also be the most embarressing) is give your friend a pen which's ink only shows up in UV, turn on the UV light then let your friend write whatever he wants on your ceiling. I did that...I gave the pen to Jermaine and you know what he wrote? He wrotea list of girls i have/do/will fancy...and also a list of posible wives...Now you see Jermaine obviously dosn't know me very well as he has put down some girl who I obviously dont fancy so its a very amusing list to read...the funnest comment is this one placed in the "Girls Sam will like" column..."Any girl he meets on a camp with long hair"...and he has also put into the list of possible future wives "Beer" so apparently Im goin to marry a beer!
This morning was rubbish possibly the worst of my life...I got up and dress and all was fine...I was goin to take a nice easy strole to college after taking a bus halfway...however I needed to take some money out of a cash point to pay for my driving lesson I had later in the day...so I get to the cash point open my wallet to find my cash card isn't there! So I go home empty all my pockets and I dont find it...so I search my bedroom...its not there...I begin to get worried...I then realise it is in the pocket of a pair of jeans which were goin around in the washing machine...so I wait for the washer to finish which it does exceedly late if u ask me...anyway I grab my card and run out the house...I get to the bus stop thinking there is enough time for me to go into the bank and get my money before the 157 (the bus which takes me to college) comes so Im about 100m away from the stop when I look behind me and see it at the stop with an old lady getting onboard so I turn around and sprint to the bus but just as I get there the doors close and the bus is about to pull off so I knock on the doors and the bus driver just looks at me and pulls off! So I sprint after it all through withington and miss it by about 2 seconds at the next stop! So then I go to the bank and get my money I then get on a bus which will take me halfway to college...just as the bus is comin up to the stop I see the 130 pulling off! and the 130 is a bus which I could have caught to get to college! So I decide to walk to cheadle bout 1mile away from college and I was bout 1mile away from cheadle at this moment...so I walk fast up to cheadle and just as Im getting there I see another bus which goes to college pulling off from a bus stop! So i have to walk the rest of the way to college and arrive there late...however I jus managed to get into my class just in time for the register...and I mean just in time...the teacher had jus said the name on the list before me...and that was the end of the worst morning of my life...
The afternoon wasn't bad...we had CU...then we had a maths lesson in which we laughed through then I had a driving lesson which was fun...Im getting used to using the clutch properly now! :D
Anyway as I have an entire piece of coursework to write by tuesday I think I should go...

Titanium and petroleum...
Hello world!
The weekend is nearly here!!! yay! only one more day of college then I have the weekend...in which I will have to write a piece of physics coursework on titanium! But my nephews and nieces are coming round on saturday so I'll get to play with them!! :D
Today I went to college as usual, its a naf place...really naf...but what the heck! Iv only got 1 1/2 more years there...that's quite a long time really....anyway as I was saying I went to college and sat through a maths lesson...in which my maths teacher is really rubbish...and trust me she is!!! Then I had an electronics lesson in which I finishd the questions set seriously quickly so I was bored for a good 30mins...then I went down to pit stop for my lunch which was cool...then I went to chemistry and learnt about the reaction of chlorine and methane...its quite explosive...I like explosive things...one of my aims in life is to create a mushroom cloud...Im not quite sure how yet, but Im a clever boy I'll find a way! I also handed in my four...yes that's right four page essay on fractional distalition and cracking of petroleum...hence the title of the post. Then I came home on my bike...and on the way a stupid woman cut me up so instead of shouting at her I decided to accelerate and keep up with her for about 300m and glare at her for quite a long time...it worked I think she got my point! It was quite amusing...
so yeah that was my day and I managed to make it sound pretty positive as well!!!

51!
Unimagitive title I know but it is 11:04pm and I am quite tired as I had another naf day...with a slightly better ending then yesterday...
So I have to think positive...why do I have to think positive Becca? Negative is sometimes more fun! Anyway here I am at 11:05pm sitting at my computer listening to the best chilled out album U2 have ever done...The Joshua Tree...great album with some quality tracks on it...however according to Becca I should have turned off my computer by this point as Im intending to go to bed soon and I shouldn't watch TV or go on my computer an hour before I go to bed...so sorry Bex but I am flatly goin against your advice...mainly cos Im in a mood to write a blog posts and the best posts as we all know are done at random times of the day and have random themes...however you advice was good advice as last night I managed to sleep better then I had for the last week...everybody Becca gives good advice on how to sleep well at night!
Anyway just as I am strugle for things to say Im going to name the best U2 albums ever:
best chill out album:
The Joshua Tree
Best happy album:
Rattle and Hum
Best live album:
Under a blood red sky
Best hits album:
All you can't leave behind
Best album:
Atchung baby
You may have noticed that How to dismantle an atomic bomb was not on that list this is because although it has some good tracks it is not the best U2 album ever and I much prefer The Joshua Tree. If anyone disagrees with me Im right here to argue my point!
I believe in the Kingdom Come
Then all the colors will bleed into one
But yes I'm still running.
You broke the bonds
You loosened the chains
You carried the cross
And my shame
And my shame
You know I believed it
But I still haven't found
What I'm looking for
But I still haven't found
What I'm looking for
U2 - Still haven't found what Im looking for
p.s. how was that for a positive post Becca? random I know but...
