Poor Ermintrude....
I rode to Cheadle on Ermintrude yesterday and I think I have neglected her...the chain keeps on slipping and think she needs a new gear cable and the gears re-indexing, not to mention the fact that she nics cleaning...at least she's got a nice saddle and a seat pin which doesn't break!!!!

I have a brand new seet pin now! Though wha you say about the chain sliping, I've had a bit of that too! So I need to see to that, I have no money at the moment, so it may be a case of DIY cheap bike fixing...
AGHHH!!!
I cleaned the chain on thursday oiled it and ran it round a bit, I'll take Izie for a ride tomorow and see how it goes, I got sold a rubish chain though the just before I came to visit you Sam, it's gone rusty, though the rust was not deep and I got rid of mosst of it, I'll give it a popper regular oiling and hope it works...
Have you just got a brand new chain? If so did you put a new block on it? cos if not that is possibly why the chain is slipping...new chain + old block = bad news
no I got a new block.. I've cleaned it off, and so far.. 1/2 mile ride it seems to work fine...
And I fitted a pup to my bike:D
