A flower of some kind

Comments?
I hate being ill. Its so annoying! I mean last week for exam was half term. So I was planning a week of cycling, doing my physics coursework (it has to be done) and then working a few extra shifts at work, but generally taking things fairly easy. However from Wednesday I was stuck at home with a flippin bad cold and the most vicious cough I've ever had! How annoying is that? However before wednesday I did manage to get some stuff done. for example on tuesday I went rock climbing with Lee with was good, I climbed two 6a+ routes! which quite frankly is very good for me...before that I had only managed to do 5+ and then that evening we went and watched County vs Walsall which was a great game and county won! Check this out....thats 8 games won on the trot without conceding a goal! and if we win our next without conceding we will set a new football league record! If we carry on like this county are goin up!

Anyway due to the fact I havent really done much recently I havent really got anything else to say. So goodbye

Its friday,

The weekend is nearly here...in 3hrs I will nearly be home...probably very wet (its raining) but it'll be the weekend and everything will be good! But right now Im stuck in the Libary bored out of my life writing this blog post and hatching evil schemes to bring about the downfall of college. You see the week we come back from halfterm (which starts in 2.45 hrs) the BBC are recording "everyday college life" all week for North West tonight, so to bring down college all we have to do is behave really badly and bring college into disrepute! Its great!

Anyway its nearly Half term, Im going climbing tonight, I'll be riding my bike a load through half term, sleeping alot so things arent looking too bad at all really! However I do have a large piece of Physics coursework to do. I have to write about 3000words on the The Speed of light and whether its a constant or not. And the evidence for each arguement and everything...so that might dampen things a bit.

Anyway Im off Im gonna go have my lunch or summat...I'll find something to do...infact I might go drag Tom away from his physics...he's writen about 1000 words in an hour and a bit!!!!!!

Psalm 69

Psalm 69

To the Chief Musician. Set to "The Lilies." A Psalm of David

1 Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck.
2 I sink in deep mire, Where there is no standing; I have come into deep waters, Where the floods overflow me.
3 I am weary with my crying; My throat is dry; My eyes fail while I wait for my God.
4 Those who hate me without a cause Are more than the hairs of my head; They are mighty who would destroy me, Being my enemies wrongfully; Though I have stolen nothing, I still must restore it.
5 O God, You know my foolishness; And my sins are not hidden from You.
6 Let not those who wait for You, O Lord GOD of hosts, be ashamed because of me; Let not those who seek You be confounded because of me, O God of Israel.
7 Because for Your sake I have borne reproach; Shame has covered my face.
8 I have become a stranger to my brothers, And an alien to my mother’s children;
9 Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up, And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.
10 When I wept and chastened my soul with fasting, That became my reproach.
11 I also made sackcloth my garment; I became a byword to them.
12 Those who sit in the gate speak against me, And I am the song of the drunkards.
13 But as for me, my prayer is to You, O LORD, in the acceptable time; O God, in the multitude of Your mercy, Hear me in the truth of Your salvation.
14 Deliver me out of the mire, And let me not sink; Let me be delivered from those who hate me, And out of the deep waters.
15 Let not the floodwater overflow me, Nor let the deep swallow me up; And let not the pit shut its mouth on me.
16 Hear me, O LORD, for Your lovingkindness is good; Turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies.
17 And do not hide Your face from Your servant, For I am in trouble; Hear me speedily.
18 Draw near to my soul, and redeem it; Deliver me because of my enemies.
19 You know my reproach, my shame, and my dishonor; My adversaries are all before You.
20 Reproach has broken my heart, And I am full of heaviness; I looked for someone to take pity, but there was none; And for comforters, but I found none.
21 They also gave me gall for my food, And for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
22 Let their table become a snare before them, And their well-being a trap.
23 Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see; And make their loins shake continually.
24 Pour out Your indignation upon them, And let Your wrathful anger take hold of them.
25 Let their dwelling place be desolate; Let no one live in their tents.
26 For they persecute the ones You have struck, And talk of the grief of those You have wounded.
27 Add iniquity to their iniquity, And let them not come into Your righteousness.
28 Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous.
29 But I am poor and sorrowful; Let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high.
30 I will praise the name of God with a song, And will magnify Him with thanksgiving.
31 This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bull, Which has horns and hooves.
32 The humble shall see this and be glad; And you who seek God, your hearts shall live.
33 For the LORD hears the poor, And does not despise His prisoners.
34 Let heaven and earth praise Him, The seas and everything that moves in them.
35 For God will save Zion And build the cities of Judah, That they may dwell there and possess it.
36 Also, the descendants of His servants shall inherit it, And those who love His name shall dwell in it.

A historic post....

This post happens to be my 200th...but thats not what makes it historic...what make it historic is this:

We have sold our house! which is a very strange feeling mainly cos Iv lived here all my life and hence leaving it is going to be very strange...and mum and dad have lived here for nearly 25 years...which is well...a long time! so yeah its a strange feeling...Im happy to be leaving Manchester cos I hate the city but its gonna be sad leaving pretty much everything and everyone I know behind. Oh well I'll be getting a car when we move so I'll be able to pop back now and again...well quite often to see County play at Edgely park...All we have to do know tho is find a house with about 5 bedrooms (or more) two garages a lot of storage space and a nice kitchen (for mum) for at £290,000...so easy really....oh yeah it cant be in a town! So if u know of a house which fits the bill in the market drayton region of Shropshire or the cheadle area of Staffordshire please let us know!

Right rather amusing story...This saturday I wasn't working :D so me and Lee decided to watch the rugby and listen to the football round at his place, and have bacon and sausage butties for dinner. So while we were in Somerfield in cheadle hulme we decided to get a couple of beers for the game. So we decided to get some ale, a Hobgoblin, and a Black Sheep...so I walk up to the till where the manager is stood, and he looks at me and says "do u have any ID?" Fair enough...I dont look 18...really if he'd been thinking tho he'd have known I was th right age cos which under age drinker drinks Hobgoblin and Black Sheep's ale? So anyway I hand him my driving license and Lee hands him his...now the date on saturday was 3/02/07 and my DOB is 5/10/88 as shown on my driving license. Now its not hard to do a quick bit of mental arithmatic...107 minus 88 = 19...maybe 18...anyway the manager stand looking at my drivers license for about 2 minutes and after a while Lee says "It doesnt take this long in the the pub" at which point the manager replies..."Im just trying to work it out cos to me this says ur 17." At which point me and lee nearly fell on the floor laughing! But our disbelief that a manager couldnt do simple mental arithmatics kept us stood still! How the heck did he become a manager?!? It took him 3 minutes nearly (after prompting by me that Im actually 18) to work out 2007 - 1988! Wot on earth do they teach in schools these days?

Today I pushed the boundaries on my bike some more...u see for the last couple of years my usual bike rides take me down a hill at styal near wilmslow. This hill is 12% and has the biggest kick ass bend near the bottom...in the past Iv only dared take it at about 34mph...I once did it at 36mph...but that was by mistake...but today I decided to throw all the cares of life behind me, and put my life on the line....trust me if I was to come off on the bend I probably would die...anyway today I hammered it down the hill and shot round the bend with only th slightest bit of braking...and much to my delight I discovered that I took it at 38mph exactly...which isn't bad considering how damp, greasy and cold the road was...but thats not it...next time I take that hill Im aiming for higher...Im aiming for 45mph...now thats pushing the outside of the envelope.

A few photos

Im too lazy to give all the settings for these shots, so I'll leave u to guess...wot I will say tho is that the last picture is off my little brother and those who know him can probably tell he is pulling the cheekist face ever in that photo...even tho u cant see it! (thankfully!)

The colour's white and blue!

We are everything in football,
That people say's sad and wrong.
But when we go to Edgeley Park,
We will sing our County songs! We'll raise our voice in chorus!
As we did in times before.
And at Edgeley Park our greatest pride,
Is the scarf my father wore!

It's forever being beautiful,
And the colour's white and blue!
I wore it proudly 'round my neck,
At Chesterfield & Crewe! My father was a County fan,
Like me grandfather before.
And at Edgeley Park I love to wear,
The scarf me father wore!

We will always follow County,
To all games far and near!
And at Edgeley Park we'll sing those songs,
That me father loved to hear!
We will raise our pints in memory,
Of the games he loved to see.
And at Edgeley Park,
I'll wear the scarf,
That me father left to me!

It's passed down the generations,
Of my family!
Oh my grandad gave it to my dad,
And me dad gave it to me.
And when my time is over,
And life's long race is run.
I'll take the scarf from 'round my neck,
And I'll pass it to my son!

County! County!

Sometimes I wonder...

...what exactly is the point of college? Take fridays for example. I come in for 9 have an hour and a half of physics where I dont really do much, often we dont really learn much. Then apart from tutor group at 12 which lasts for 10mins I dont have any lessons until 2 which is then an hour and a half of maths, which on a friday afternoon when all u want to do is go home, doing stuff like differentiation jus seems pointless! So yeah by 3:30 we'll all ready to die...and if u felt like that when u came into the lesson then the chances are u are already dead! As it happens it is friday, and hence Im filling time writing this blogpost, I would be in the pub...but all my friends who were gonna come bailed on me, for various reasons. So now Im sitting on a computer opposite Maria and Jo being bored...and listening to Norah Jones!

Anyway, I supose life could be worse. Im not sure how but Im fairly sure it could be. At least in 4hours time I'll be well on my way home from this dump...4 hours! Iv jus realised how long that is!

OOOOO England finally beat Austrialia in the cricket....about time! And the 6-Nations starts tomorrow. And Jonny Wilkinson, Jason robinson and Andy Farrell are playing so it could be interesting...and we might even win so u never know! Tomorrow might be good, well one things for sure, the bacon butties me and Lee are having tomorrow will be good!

And at edgely park I love to wear the scarf my father wore!

Oh yes, Stockport county are playing amazing at the moment! from struggling at the bottom we're now up at 6th place!! And due to our incredably lucky win at Wrexham on Tuesday night we've now leap frogged Wycome...who manged to draw with chelsea and then get thumped 2-0 by us! So up on ur feet all u county fans cos county are going up!
