Pedro Dynamite

On one website I was:

You are Napoleon. You are a little insecure, and you only think about yourself. But don't worry. You have trusting friends who support you and you support them too. Just think about others first, rather than yourself.

A story of rain and cricket (there was more of the former)

Today I went to Old Trafford to watch Lancashire vs Nottinghamshire. It rained...some of the time but the other times it was really quite sunny...however cos of stupid groundsmen there wasn't much cricket, but I took some pictures of the cricket there was and here are my favourites:

we better win this time...

Sri Lanka Vs England

Sri Lanka First innings: 141 (all out)

If we don't win this time I might start supporting Bangladesh, they could probably win from this posistion...anyway come on England.

Indescribable

That would be the title of the song I am listening to by Chris Tomlin...and it aptly describes God, even though he is indescribable. I've dug myself in quite a large hole there...but with God nothing is impossible so he's indescribable but describable at the same time, get your head around that one! Anyway before I need a ladder to get me out of the hole Im rapidly digging for myself Im going to move on...very quickly.

Last night I went to St. Andrews to listen to a guy called Alec (can't remember his surname, can anyone help me out on that?) anyway I went to listen to a Gentleman named Alec preach on Isiah 53. He focused mainly on Verses 10 - 12 and it was very interesting. It struck me while I was there how much God must love us (not that I didn't alreadly know) but it wasn't like God just sent his Son to die for us and didn't want it to happen. It pleased the Lord to bruise him. And I just find that amazing. Really really amazing.

I had my electronics exam yesterday it was seriously easy...I just messed around for the most part. I went cycling this morning, in the rain...its been raining for ten days now!!! What is that all about!? I mean I didn't know we have a rainy season in England, whats that? oh sorry I know this is Britain and hence is nearly always wet but its the end of may for crying out loud...I should be out in the sun revising instead Im stuck in my bedroom...at least I get to listen to my music in my room...which is no bad thing when you have albums like Stadium Arcadium, Here I am to Worship, When silence falls, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb and Sultans of Swing...which I do...so yeah maybe rain ain't all that bad...I still wish I could revise outside though...

And that was that...I'm going to go and have my lunch now...(I nearly wrote lunch exam, revision's gone to the brain...help!)

Poor Ermintrude....

I rode to Cheadle on Ermintrude yesterday and I think I have neglected her...the chain keeps on slipping and think she needs a new gear cable and the gears re-indexing, not to mention the fact that she nics cleaning...at least she's got a nice saddle and a seat pin which doesn't break!!!!

Stadium Arcadium

Wow! what an album...I am eternally debted to Jonathon Wilson (read his blog!) for lending me Stadium Arcadium I borrowed it last night at 11pm and both discs are already both imported onto my computer...it is truely awesome. And I just love the way it has two discs Jupiter and Mars when you've finished one you've got just as much to listen to again pure genius...28 songs on 2CDs...what can I say...I'll just let the album cover do the talking:

One year

That is the the amount of time I have left at college...in a years time I will have finished last lesson and I will just have exams left! But Im here and I can see that year stretching out ahead of me it seems like a long year from here...but we shall see, this year has passed quite quickly so maybe next year will...hopefully...

Today was my last day at college before study leave...it was wierd it was the last day with all the second years and considering that most of my friends are second years the 4 weeks which I go back for after study leave could be quite boring...just possibly...infact they're likely to be rubbish! But again we will see, I haven't signed my self to bordom just yet...

I now have a total of 7 exam papers to sit, but 3 of them (chemistry) happen at the same time so I only have to go in 5 times. Next week I have Maths (C2) on Monday and Electronics on Tuesday. Once I get them out of the way things will be a bit easier for me to concentrate on the other 3 subjects.

Anyway I can see this post starting to waffle and talk about random-nothingness so Im going to end it here...well actually it will end at my signature...which is right about here:

Aww....they were tired...

He was tired too...but he was catching flies as well!!!

That was Llandudno...

Hello world...

As you may have guessed by the title Iv just got back from Llandudno and it was great!! We messed around, went in the sea...well me, Daisy and Ellen did...We cut our selves on the rocks in the sea...you should just see my feet...It was great! Thankyou to Becky, John, Matt, Anders, Dot, Lynn for leading it...big thanks to Matt cos he drove us there and he brought us back...he also did the teaching.

I have some pictures...well quite alot...and they are downloading from my phone this very second so soon I will put some of them up here...if you want the rest leave a comment and I'll e-mail them to you...unfortuantly I didn't get a picture of the amazing shooting star we saw...it was awesome! You could see the red firey bit behind it wow...reminds you of God (and John) "...he also made the stars"

Playing frisbe on the beach at 11:30 when you can't even see the frisbe is kinda mad...well actually it is mad...so was offering to collect shells with ruth...it was a good thing it was dark or else we'd still be there now picking up the last shells!

On to the important things now...what did I learn...well I learnt that Badgers kill cows with TVs! yes you heard right! They firstly use the flex to wrap around the cows legs then and bring the cow to the floor, then they grab the flex and swing the TV round they head and smash it down on the cows head...apparently moles also kill cows by tunnelling under their legs then making the cow fall into the ground and get stuck then they die...oh and also foxes are fantasic...I don't agree with that last one...Daisy you're wierd!

Anyway there's a shortend version of the weekend...they good news is that th pictures hav now finished downloading so Im about to post a few...if anyone has any cool pictures...e-mail them to me! Oh and if anyone would like a video of Stephen making an ass of himself post a comment...

County are stayin up yeah!!!! its fantiastic...saturday afternoon was so tense...but the evening was just down right fantastic!

And that's that!

Im Happy...

Im got the spring hare feeling...Iv been bouncing around all evening and Im seriously happy and I have no idea why. Its been amazingly warm today with temperatures around 25C and the sun was so pleasant...there was a warm breeze/wind/zephyr today and it just felt so nice. The sun makes even college feel nice...well actually it makes it feel worse when your stuck in Chemistry and you know that your two best friends in college (Honeybun and her Love Monkey...forgive me helen) are in the park messing around in the sun...but apart from that it makes it pretty good...hopefully it will be sunny tomorrow so we can go down the park in our two hour lunch break..and play frisbe...I wonder if I will be this happy tomorrow...I have every reason to be...Jesus Christ has saved me...God is changing me to be more like Jesus...the Holy Spirit is within me...God's in control...there's the spiritual reasons why I should be happy the other ones are...it feels like summer, well it basically is summer...There are some great people at college...and its friday tomorrow which means its nearly the weekend...and tomorrow evening I go to Llandudno (pronounced Clan-did-no) so yeah I have every reason to be happy...oh and Im single...which means I can concentrate on my walk with God and getting that sorted out which really is the most important thing...tomorrow should be a happy day...I get to sit with Honeybun in Physics and wind up Ian about the fact that he has a purple car...he says its blue but we know better...whatever colour it is its got one mighty fine sound system in it...it will be fun tommorow and the weekend cos we're not afraid to have fun!!!! YEEEHA! and with that I will leave bye!!!

Its sunny!!!!!

WooHoo!!! Its sunny!!!! Im sitting here in the sun enjoying the warmth and plesant breeze...as I have been all afternoon...Early I was sitting outside cafe Uno in Didsbury with martin enjoying the sun, I could swear I nearly got burnt...anyway Im off to enjoy the sun...cya soon....
